Vinnie Cimino: Cordelia chef enjoys second James Beard nomination alongside Cleveland chef friends

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Vinnie Cimino found out he was nominated for his second James Beard Award in a row when he was at home, brushing his teeth.

The Cordelia chef/partner knew nominations were coming out that day, but he didn’t know what time. He finished brushing his teeth, walked into his bedroom and refreshed the list around 10 a.m. Then, he saw his name on the list for the Best Chef: Great Lakes region category for the second year in a row.
