CLEVELAND, Ohio – Chef Vinnie Cimino of Cleveland’s Cordelia restaurant on East 4th Street learned he was a James Beard Award semi-finalist while he was in Marco Island, Florida. He was there to talk about innovation, trends and storytelling through food at a Certified Angus Beef Foodservice Leaders Summit.
Just as he returned to his hotel room, he got the call with the news from his public relations agent. When they hung up, he called his wife.
