Guardians’ Steven Kwan picks Cordelia as favorite Cleveland restaurant
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Guardians’ All-Star player Steven Kwan shouted out Cordelia as his favorite restaurant in Cleveland.
The left fielder was a guest in the second episode of Gabrielle Kreuz’s “Kreuzin Cleveland” show where he answered questions while being driven around the city.
While much of the conversation had to do with baseball and Kwan’s career, he did take a second to answer the question for his favorite restaurant in Northeast Ohio.
“Right now, it’s Cordelia,” Kwan said
He also shouted out Chef Vinnie Cimino and his James Beard Award nomination earlier this year in his detailed response.
“One of the best chefs in the area. Every time we go there it’s fire,” Kwan added.
Kwan didn’t pick a specific dish that’s his favorite at the restaurant on E. 4th Street. Rather, he said he enjoys dressing up on a date night and trying out various seasonal menu items during each visit.
Cordelia also received national praise earlier this week when Travel + Leisure magazine name-dropped the restaurant in its story naming Cleveland one of the Top 10 food destinations in the U.S.
